Unbeated light middleweight Hugo “The Boss” Centeno (15-0-8KO) returns to the ring October 6th in Sacramento, CA to face Justin Williams (4-5-2-2KO).

Under the watchful eye of Joel De La Hoya at JDLH Management, “The Boss” has been garnering more attention from his fan friendly style and the young prospect has been handling it with stride.
Bred from the hotbed of Oxnard, CA Centeno was a decorated amateur with a record of 90 wins and only 8 losses, and the transition to the professional ranks has been every bit as impressive. Standing at 6’1″ with a 78″ reach advantage, the young technician carries a broad range of arsenal as he is able to box on the outside or impose his will on the inside and tear down his opponents.
A true student of the game, Centeno has all the makings to be a future champion. He speaks with the humility and confidence developed through the support of a solid team, is teachable, and maybe one of the most important (has the work ethic only champions understand). Recently Centeno had been stepping up his sparring and bringing in the likes of middleweight Peter Quillin aka “Kid Chocolate”, to help prepare him for his upcoming bout. Its no question Centeno has his sights set on becoming a future world champion and is taking every measurement to get there.
Boxing fans and media, keep this kid on your radar. There’s a reason why he is always smiling after a bout; when you’re “The Boss”, you know you run the show and Centeno delivers every time.
