Sydney based singer-songwriter Lucy Burke sings with soul and passion and writes songs that are heartfelt, raw and honest. Lucy engages audiences as both a solo artist and with her band in the style of acoustic pop. She originally emerged on the music scene as part of Lillja, an acoustic duo who performed covers and originals in various Sydney pubs and live music venues.

In 2011, she decided to pursue a solo career and released her debut album Botany Street which went on to be short-listed for three Aria nominations including Best Female Artist and Best Contemporary Album. Recorded at Abbey Road London, Botany Street was a collection of songs written about her life growing up in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs on her street with the same name.

In 2014, Lucy Burke launched a Pozible crowd funding campaign to raise funds to record her latest album Chasing Sparks. Recorded and produced by industry renowned former Thirsty Merc guitarist Sean Carey, this album comprised of songs with heartfelt lyrics, orchestral and electronic arrangements and raw acoustic indie pop sounds.
